Dr. Parker intentionally designs this journey to experience the land beyond the bus window. Travelers should expect walking, hiking, climbing uneven terrain, and spending extended time outdoors throughout the trip.
You do not need to be an athlete, but you should feel comfortable being active and on your feet for portions of each day.
Comfortable walking shoes, flexibility, and a sense of adventure will go a long way on this journey.

Yes. If you are traveling with someone specific, we will do our best to accommodate roommate requests whenever possible.
If you are traveling solo but would like to share a room, we may also be able to pair travelers requesting double occupancy.
